| "Leaving Santa Monica" is my first chamber opera. It was composed for and premiered by ICE in 2005. It is an abstract story of fragmented memories and reconciliation, and a meditation on what it would be like to be able travel back in time to the mystical land of one's early childhood--a time before memory. |
